The leaders of Odi, a community in Bayelsa state, say, former President Olusegun Obasanjo is not qualified to deliver lecture on how to disperse a peaceful protest without violence. The leaders were reacting to Obasanjo’s statement amid the #EndSARS protests in which he asked President Muhammadu Buhari not to use “brute force” against citizens protesting against police brutality.

Nigerians have challenged Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to walk on the streets of Lagos with his security details if truly he is the “Jagaban” as claimed by him on Saturday. The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who addressed journalists in Lagos State on Saturday, 24th October stressed that whatever people may think, he remains the Asiwaju of Lagos.

A Muslim influencer and reformist Imam, Mohammad Tawhidi, popularly known as Imam of Peace, has lamented that the international community betrayed Nigerians in reaction to the #LekkiMassacre carried out by men in army uniform. The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, on Saturday issued a new directive to police commanders across states in Nigeria. The IGP ordered the police commanders to mobilize police operatives to immediately stop the breakdown of law and order across the country.

9. Hoodlums Attack, Burn WAEC Office, Senator Ndoma-Egba’s House In Calabar (Videos)

Suspected hoodlums on Saturday, 24th October, attacked, vandalized and burnt down the office of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) located in Calabar, the Cross River State capital. The thugs also attacked several cars, removing some body parts including tyres and batteries before setting ablaze the remains of the cars.
