Atiku, Former Kano State Chief Judge Is Buried

The death of Shehu Atiku, former Chief Judge of the Kano State High Court of Justice has been confirmed.

According to a press statement on Monday by Baba Ibrahim Jibo, the Public Relations Officer, Kano High Court, Atiku died on Sunday.

As earlier reported by Naija News, Atiku, the immediate past Chief Judge of Kano State High Court of Justice died of an undisclosed ailment.

The remains of the late jurist has also been laid to rest on Monday morning after the final Islamic funeral rites were performed on his remains at Umar Ibn Khattab Mosque.

The jurist, who retired as the Kano Chief Judge in 2015 has been interred in accordance with Islamic injunctions.
