Residents Turn Prayer Warriors Over Faulty PHCN Transformer (Video)

Residents of Ikota Housing estate, a Nigerian community located in Ajah, Lagos State have resorted to prayers as a result of faulty transformers in the area which has plunged them into perpetual darkness.

The residents of the community are understood to have been battling the issue for a while but have now come to believe the challenges affecting their transformers have spiritual links.

They, therefore, gathered on Friday morning August 14, where they waged prayers against ‘spiritual forces’ of darkness that are preventing their transformers from functioning properly.

According to a Twitter user identified with the username @Kay_Tylor, who shared the video online, in the space of one year, four different transformers have been brought to the area by officials f the Power Holding Corporation of Nigeria (PHCN) and all have gone bad.

This forced the residents to go spiritual as they believe it is a spiritual attack targeted at keeping their community in darkness.
