The Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari is currently in a closed-door meeting with the Inspector-General of Police, Muhammed Adamu, the Director-General, Department of State Services, Magashi Bichi, the National Security Adviser, Babagana Mungono, and the Katsina State Commissioner of Police, Sanusi Buba, arrived at the Katsina Government House.

A source within the government house said the meeting is in connection with current security challenges in the state.

Recall that the state governor, on Tuesday admitted that he has failed in protecting the residents of the state from bandits.

Masari expressed his unhappiness at how people cannot sleep with both eyes closed since he became governor.

The statement of the Katsina State Governor did not go down well with people of the state as they called for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari and the governor of the state, Masari, over the deaths of innocent Nigerians in the state.
