Just In: Lagos Discharges 17 More COVID-19 Patients, Bringing Total To 649

The Lagos State government on Wednesday announced it has discharged 17 more COVID-19 patients who have recovered from the virus.

According to a post on the Twitter page of the Lagos State Ministry of Health, the patients were discharged after testing negative twice to the coronavirus infection.

Naija News understands those discharged include six females and eleven males. The latest discharge brings the total number of recoveries from the virus in Lagos State to 649.

Additional information on the latest discharges shows seven of the patients were released from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, six patients from LUTH Isolation Centre, and four from Gbagada Isolation Centre.
