Arsenal are reported to be looking towards Super Eagles forward, Emmanuel Dennis with a view to bringing him to the Emirates Stadium during the summer transfer window.

Dennis currently plays for Club Brugge in the Belgian top division where he has been for three years now and has been attracting interest from several clubs across Europe.

His current contract runs with Club Brugge until 2022 but UK Mirror reports the player is likely to leave the Jan Breydel Stadium, with Arsenal looking like the expected destination.

Denis almost left last summer, but the arrival of Philippe Clement as manager made him stay one more year.

It is understood that Arsenal are willing to pay the £22million price tag on his head.

With nine goals this season, including a brace against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in the Champions League, Newcastle, Brighton, Sheffield United, Watford, Monaco and Sampdoria are other clubs said to be interested in the 22-year-old striker.

Meanwhile, Naija News earlier reported the English Premier League shareholders have finally reached an agreement on allowing clubs to resume training in groups for the completion of the 2019/2020 session.

The development which was disclosed in an official statement by the EPL on Monday, May 18, noted that teams would commence training in small groups from Tuesday, May 19.

The statement reads: “Premier League Shareholders today voted unanimously to return to small group training from tomorrow afternoon.”

“(It is) the first step towards restarting the Premier League, when safe to do so.”
