Lagos Discharges 13 COVID-19 Patients

Thirteen people who have been managed and have recovered from the coronavirus infection have been discharged by the Lagos State government.

This was confirmed on Thursday in a statement by the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

“Good people of Lagos,

“Today, 13 more COVID19Lagos patients; 11 males and 2 females, all Nigerians have been discharged from our Yaba and Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.”

“The patients, 4 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and 9 from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.”

“With this, the number number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos is now 541.”

Meanwhile, Naija News earlier reported that Lagos residents are divided in their views over the plans by the state government to return total lockdown to the nation’s commercial capital.

This is based on results so far generated from an online poll instituted on the official twitter handle of the Lagos State government, seeking the people’s opinion on the lockdown.
