COVID-19: Aisha Buhari Reacts To El-Rufai’s Coronavirus Status

Nigeria’s First Lady and wife to President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha has taken to the social media to react to the Kaduna State Governor’s current health status.

Naija News had reported earlier that governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State tested positive for COVID-19.

Governor Nasir El-Rufai disclosed this on Saturday that he has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19 despite showing no symptom of the disease. El-Rufai’s Coronavirus case was the first in Kaduna State as confirmed by the NCDC on Saturday.

Reacting to El-Rufai’s status, the first lady of Nigeria expressed sadness over the development as she prayed for the governor to have a speedy recovery from the deadly virus.

Aisha wrote, “Gov. Nasir, I am deeply touched by the news of your Covid 19 status.

“On behalf of my family, I extend our sincere prayers for your quick recovery. I want to assure you that with collective effort we will overcome it. In Shaa Allah!”.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Minister of Health, Mr Osagie Ehanire on Saturday said he has told President Buhari some necessary measures to be taken to curb the spread of COVID-19.
