Oshiomhole Reveals Tinubu's Position On Edo 2024 Governorship Primary Election

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has tested negative to coronavirus.

This development was confirmed to Naija News in a statement on Friday signed by Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, National Publicity Secretary of the APC.

His statement reads in part: “Following fears he could have physically interacted with person[s] who tested positive to the coronavirus.

“Oshiomhole presented himself for a test on Thursday and it has just been confirmed that the result returned negative.”

Meanwhile, Nigeria has recorded 5 new cases of coronavirus bringing the total number of cases in the West African country to 70.

Naija News reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed this in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Friday evening, March 27.

According to the NCDC, of the five coronavirus cases recorded on Friday evening, three were detected in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital and two in Oyo state, southwest Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “Five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 3 in FCT & 2 in Oyo State

“As at 08:00 pm 27th March there are 70 cases of confirmed #COVID19 reported Nigeria. 3 have been discharged with 1 death.”
