COVID-19: Niger State Ventilation Machines Arrive In Batches (Photos)

A week after Niger State Government through its state secretary, Ahmed Ibrahim Matane announced the total shut down of all Public and Private Schools, including Tertiary Institutions in the state, the Governor Abubakar Sani Bello’s administration has gone ahead to procure some Ventilator Machines to help in the fight against the global epidemic.

Naija News recalls that the state government issued an order to close down all educational institutions which take effect from Monday, 23rd March 2020.

According to the report which was obtained by Naija News on Thursday evening, the ventilation machines started arriving the state today, March 26.

The machines are meant to be used in making breathing easy for victims who may have tested positive of the COVID-19, as well as other diseases.

Meanwhile, in another development, Governor Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State has tested negative for the coronavirus disease after he subjected himself to the rapid diagnostic test for the virus, Naija News report.
