Just In: Lagos Assembly Lifts Suspension of Lawmakers

The Lagos State House of Assembly on Thursday lifted the suspension of four lawmakers, Moshood Oshun, Raheem Kazeem, Rotimi Abiru and Wahab Jimoh.

This was made known by Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, at the start of plenary activities on the floor of the House.

According to Obasa, the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) which was presided over by the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and attended by other party leaders such as, Governor Babajide Sanwo – Olu, Prince Tajudeen Olusi, Dr. Abayomi Finnih, Prince Rabiu Oluwa, Chief Lanre Rasaq aka KLM, Alhaji Shakiru Seriki and many others intervene in the matter.

The Speaker said at the meeting, it was agreed that the House should reinstate the suspended lawmakers.

Naija News recalls that the sanctions was slammed against them by their colleagues on Monday, March 9.
