Two housewives who were discovered in chains a few days ago in their matrimonial home by their husband has begged a Sharia Court in Katsina to end their marriage with the man.

Naija News learned that the two women, Fatima Salisu and Hadiza Musa, who were both married to Samaila Musa, their husband, has cried before the Katsina Upper Sharia Court to dissolved their marriage with their husband who has been accused of Witchcraft.

It was reported that the two housewives were chained for a period of 10 months inside their house by the husband who alleged shaved their hair, locked them up and leaves them to defecate in the same room.

Further information reveals that Samaila had locked his two wives in the room, shave off their hairs and set to use them for ritual purpose.

Naija News understands that Musa after barbing his two wive’s hair applied also grounded pepper into their private parts and eyes during menstrual periods.

At the court sitting on Thursday, February 13, the duo through their lawyer Hamisu Malunfashi, begged the court to dissolve their union, adding that they have had enough torture and violation in their marital home.

Responding to the presiding judge, Ali Ingawa’s question to the accused, Musa denied all accusations and insist that he was being framed up.

Ingawa, however, adjourned the case to 20th of February, 2020 to enable the witnesses, including the police to present more facts.

In another news, Naija News had reported that a housewife, identified as Fatimah Jimoh, has called on an Area Court in Ilorin, to grant her request of divorce from her husband of eight years, Amosa, on the charges that he hits her and does not provide money for food.
