Former Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, has backed Bola Ahmed Tinubu to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

An upper Area Court in Yola ordered an injunction restraining the Miyetti Allah cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) from conducting any elections in Adamawa.

The presiding judge of the court, Abubakar Muhammad granted an interim injunction barring MACBAN from conducting election, congress or any gathering for the purpose of determining the leadership of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in Adamawa pending the hearing and determination of the case.

An attempt by a suspected suicide bomber to blow up a chapel of the Living Faith Church located at the Sabo metropolis of Chikun Local government area of Kaduna State on Sunday has been foiled.

The suicide bomber reportedly beat the security to gain entrance into the church building but was apprehended before he could carry out the deadly act.

7. Pastor Adeboye Leads Massive Protest Against Insecurity In Nigeria

Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on Sunday, led other worshippers in a massive protest against the current state of insecurity in Nigeria.

The popular clergyman, joined by other members of the church, took to the streets of Lagos state, with placards bearing various inscriptions such as ‘all souls are precious to God’, ‘stop the killings’ God hurts when his creature hurt’ etc.
