Photos: 2 Policemen Die In A Car Accident While Chasing A Commercial Vehicle

It was a pitiful situation as two Nigerian Police officers reportedly died in a car accident while trying to get hold of an erring commercial vehicle.

According to a report made available to newsmen on Sunday evening, the police officers who were driving in an official police car chased after a Sienna which was loaded with passengers along the Ogoni/Akwa Ibom road when the accident had occurred.

The report had it that the police car somersaulted and crashed in the bush while on the run after the other passenger vehicle.

However, no statement has been made by the State Police command as at the time the report was given, but two among the officers were confirmed dead while the fortunate Sienna escaped the chase.

Meanwhile, Naija News has reported earlier that Delta State Police Command has announced that its operatives have arrested some 50 suspected cultists who are said to be responsible for always causing chaos in the state.

Naija News understands that the group have been labelled for causing several fights with other confraternities, leading to robberies, killing and causing pandemonium in the community.
