Following the death of Mr Saibu Adeosun, on January 8, as reported on different media, his wife has been favoured with an appointment.

Naija News understands that Saibu had died just hours before his screening by Ogun State House of Assembly.

However, Saibu’s wife, Mrs Mulikat Adeosun have been rewarded with the position of Secretary to the Local Government Caretaker Committees of Ipokia Local Government Area, today.

Mrs Adeosun’s appointment was disclosed by the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, during the swearing ceremony of the Caretaker Committee, at the June 12 Cultural Centre.

In another news, Naija News reported that Olamide Babayemi, a 25-year-old cobbler has been accused of raping a 22-year-old Microbiology graduate and sharing the victim’s nude video with his friends.

He was said to have carried out the act in Mowe, Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Babayemi was alleged to have hidden under the pretence of inviting the victim, whom he claimed was his girlfriend, to come and collect the phone she asked him to buy for her to carry out the act.

When the lady in question got to the guy’s place, he was reported to have forcefully removed her clothes, soaked them in water and used his phone to record the rape session before sending the video to some of his friends according to a statement on Sunday by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi.
