1. Edo Assembly Saga: Oshiomhole Is Biased – Obaseki

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has accused the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, of showing bias over the State Assembly saga.

Naija News recalls Oshiomhole had in a press conference likened the Edo State Assembly crisis to that of Bauchi state.

2. Saraki’s Ex-Aide Rejects Lawan’s Appointment

Olu Onemola has rejected his appointment as special assistant to Senate President Ahmed Lawan on new media.

Naija News reports that Onemola held the same position under the immediate past Senate President, Bukola Saraki.

3. Intels: Why Atiku’s Company Services Was Terminated – NPA

The Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Hadiza Bala Usman, has revealed that the services of Intels, a company owned by Atiku Abubakar, was terminated because of the company’s inability to remit over $140 million to the federal government’s coffers.

Usman claimed that Atiku’s company was collecting revenue for port operations but was not remitting to the federal government.

The crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC) took a new twist on on Saturday, June 22, as the state governors are allegedly shopping for the replacement of the party’s national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

5. Oshiomhole Vs Obaseki: APC Reacts To Edo Assembly Crisis

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reacted to claims by Governor Godwin Obaseki that it’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, is biased towards the crisis rocking the Edo State House of Assembly.

Naija News reports that Obaseki had in a statement by his Media Adviser, Crusoe Osagie, accused Oshiomhole of not hearing from both sides in the Assembly crisis.

The Rivers State Police Command on Saturday confirmed the death of three persons in the raging fire caused by a pipeline explosion in the state.

The Police confirmation comes after Naija News had reported the incident that sacked residents of the affected communities from their homes.

7. Man Gets Broken Skull For Advising Nigerian Police Officers

A middle-aged Nigerian man identified by his Facebook name as Sagacious Louis was on Friday brutalized by some operatives of the Nigerian Police, the Delta state command.

Naija News reports that the incident occurred around the Owhelogbo junction, Ozoro, in the Isoko North local government area of Delta state.

President Muhammadu Buhari‘s former minister has revealed that the president may send the list of his next cabinet to the Senate next month.

The former minister told The Punch that Buhari is trying to avoid the mistake of waiting for six months to appoint ministers in his first term.

A one-storey building on Sunday collapsed in Oshodi, Lagos State, reportedly killing two people.

Naija News gathered that the building is located at 35, Adesanya Street, Mafoluku area of Oshodi.

Senior Pastor of the Awaiting The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ Gospel Church, Pastor Adewale Giwa, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to appoint only credible and knowledgeable people into his next cabinet.
