9th National Assembly: Lawan Nominated For Senate President

Senator-elect Yahaya Abdullahi (APC-Kebbi North) has nominated Senator Ahmed Lawan to be the next Senator President of the 9th National Assembly.

The lawmaker-elect nominated the former Senate Leader during the ongoing plenary session on Tuesday.

Responding to his nomination accepted.

Meanwhile, Naija News reported that the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole has stormed the National Assembly complex to witness the 9th assembly inauguration and the election of presiding officers.

Also, APC governors were led into the compley by the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum, Kayode Fayemi.

Others in the entourage included the Governors of Kwara, Plateau, Kebbi Osun, Kano, Katsina, and Nasarawa among others.
