The Nigerian Senate has on Wednesday, passed the police reform bill.
The bill, aimed at improving policing standards in the country, will now be transmitted to the House of Representative for concurrence.
Naija News understands that this development is not unconnected to the recent killing of a 20-year old student, Ada Ifeanyi and Kolade Johnson a football fan who was killed at a match viewing centre in Lagos State by men of Nigeria Police.
