Live Updates: Ebonyi State Election Results

The voting exercise for the governorship and state assemblies election is gradually coming to an end in all polling units in Ebonyi state and results are already trickling out.

Recall that the events that set the pace at Ebonyi state may have affected the turn out of voters as suspected political thugs allegedly set ablaze the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Centre in Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State while attacking some staff at the Registration Centre.

The Governorship elections in the state is a power tussle between ruling governor David Umahi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressive Congress, APC’s Sonni Ogbuoji
