Festus Keyamo Reveals ‘Update’ On Atiku’s Status On

The Director, Strategic Communications, President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organisation, Mr. Festus Keyamo (SAN), has revealed that the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, may soon be given a United States visa.

According to a statement by Keyamo, Atiku will be given his US Visa on the grounds that he is a candidate for the Presidency.

Jerry Gana Speaks On How SDP Will Fix Nigeria

The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Professor Jerry Gana, has said that his party will take Nigeria by storm come 2019.

The  former Minister of Information and national Orientation while speaking as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Prof Gana said 2019 will see the second coming of the SDP, explaining that the first advent of the party was in 1993 when Chief MKO Abiola won the presidential polls flawlessly.

2019 Elections: CUPP Calls For Mental Health Test For Buhari, Atiku, Others

The Coalition of United Political Parties have called for the mental evaluation of the candidates vying for the seat of the presidency, include the People’s Democratic Party and All Progressive Congress’s candidates, Atiku Abubakar and President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to the coalition, the event will be called out by an independent team of experts in mental health issues.

Six Towns Of Borno State Reportedly Deserted As Boko Haram Take Over

It is no longer news that the Boko Haram fighters recently unleashed attacks on Baga, Doron-Baga, Kross Kawwa, Bunduran, Kekeno and Kukawa towns of Borno State after three days of fierce battles from Wednesday to Friday last week.

Daily Trust confirmed from military and political sources that this towns are now deserted as there are currently no Nigerian or Multinational forces in the six towns which are major population centres in Kukawa local government area of northern Borno.

National Assembly Investigating As $877M Released For Military Equipment Is ‘Missing’

Out of the $1 billion approved by the National Assembly for the purchase of military equipment, $877 million has been released, Naija News understands.

The fund however seem to be missing as  Chief of Army Staff Lt.-Gen. Tukur Burataisaid the military had not received such cash from the government to boost the anti-Boko Haram and other campaigns.

Army Kills Three Female Suicide Bombers, Recover Weapons In Borno State

The Nigerian Army has revealed that its troops currently fighting Boko Haraminsurgents in the North East have killed three female suicide bombers in Borno state.

According to information made available to Naija News by Col. Onyema Nwachukwu, Deputy Director Public Relations Theatre Command Operation LAFIYA DOLE, the encounter occurred on Sunday, 30th December around Kubtara village in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State.
