Imo: I Have Forgiven My Abductors - Uche Nwosu

Uche Nwosu, a governorship aspirant of the All progressive Congress (APC) in Imo State and the son-in-law of the governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha, has refuted the claims that he is contemplating dumping the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Naija News understands that there have been confrontation between Okorocha and the National Leader of the party, Adams Oshiomhole, over the refusal of the later to present Nwosu as the governorship candidate of the party in the state.

Nwosu, who assured that he will gain back his mandate from Senator Hope Uzodinma and subsequently run for the election next year, added that he will not leave the APC for anybody.

Speaking to New Telegraph on Monday, he said “Plans of my defection to PDP is a big lie. l can’t be part of a party from inception and abandon it for people that came and joined.

“l have no reason to dump APC as l am convinced that l will regain my mandate and contest the Imo State governorship election in the state.”
