Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has advised his estranged political godfather, George Akume to stop castigating him and present his ‘scorecard’ for the past 12 years before seeking re-election to the National Assembly.

Speaking through his Special Adviser on Media and ICT, Tahav Agerzua yesterday, Ortom maintained that rather than continue to abuse him, Akume should concern himself with highlighting his achievements to his constituents.

He wondered why certain politicians ascribe powers to themselves, insisting that power belongs to God.
