The Speaker of the Kaduna state House of Assembly, Hon. Nuhu Goro Shadalafiya, has declared the seat of his former deputy, John Audu Kwaturu vacant.

The declaration follows Kwaturu’s decision to defect from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The Speaker also declared vacant, the seat of one other member, Junaid Yakubu.

The speaker justified his decision to declare the seats vacant on ground that the two members decamped from the APC without any disagreement of faction within the party.

Naija News recalls the former deputy speaker, John Audu Kwaturu, resigned his position as deputy speaker on Tuesday, after dumping the APC for the PDP last week.
