Bolaji Abdullahi Says He Has Not Resigned From The APC

Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the National Publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has revealed that he remains an integral part of the party.

The former minister of youth and sports development, denied dumping the APC in a phone chat with Premium Times on Tuesday, following the news that his political mentor, and Senate President of Nigeria, Dr. Bukola Saraki has dumped the APC and returned to the Peoples Democratic Party.

Abdulahi’s absence at the Monday meeting of the APC National Working Committee, further gave credence to the rumours that he had dumped the ruling party.

However, Mr. Abdullahi said in reaction to inquiries; “But I have not tendered my resignation, and I did not tell anyone I have done so.”

The APC spokesman also told journalists at the party secretariat that he duely notified the party’s national leadership of his absence from the Monday meeting, shutting down the rumours of decamping to another party.
