Supreme Court Dismisses Asset Declaration Charges Against Saraki
The Supreme Court on Friday has dismissed the remaining three charges bordering on false asset declaration against Senate President Bukola Saraki in a case before the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
Delivering judgment, a five-man panel of the court, led by Justice Dattijo Muhammad all upheld Saraki’s appeal, dismissing the remaining three counts against him and declaring the evidence led by the prosecution as hearsay.

The national chairman of the Reformed All Progressives Congress (rAPC), Alh. Buba Galadima has boasted that his faction has enough members and support in the National Assembly to successfully impeach President Muhammadu Buharishould the need arise.
Galadima said this on Friday in reaction to the statement made by the APC national chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomole in which he said he wouldn’t lose sleep over the activities of members of the rAPC, describing them as people who were inconsequential to the party’s fortune.
