Aggrieved APC Members Urged To Sheat Their Swords And  Work Towards The Party’s Victory In 2019.

The Edo State All Progressives Congress (APC)  Council In Edo State has urged aggrieved members of the party to bury their hatchet and work towards the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 general election.

In a joint statement by Oredo Council APC chairman, Mr. Godswill Alabi and his Publicity Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Aiguobasimwin, in Benin-City,  they urged the leadership of the party to begin the process of reaching out to aggrieved members of the party and assist the President to succeed in the task of governance.

They  also urged the former chairman of APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and others “not withdraw their wise counsels from the newly elected party leaders.

The duo expressed confidence in  the new Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole  that he would bring his wealth of experience in the labour movement to bear for effective leadership of the party.

Their statement read “With Oshiomhole at the helm of affairs of APC, victory is assured in 2019. I urge all aggrieved members of APC to bury the hatchet, unite and work for APC victory in 2019 elections.

“We also want to commend immediate past chairman of APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun for leading the party to victory in 2015. He should not hesitate to give his fatherly counsel to his successor”, the statement said.
