Herders Kill Five In Cross Fire, Allegedly Burn Down Army Vehicle

Suspected herders have reportedly killed five in Logo Local government area of Benue State on Sunday. The attackers were also  said to have burnt down Army patrol vehicles during the clash.

Naija News learnt that the herders attempted to attack a village in Logo, but were intercepted by the Army.

The confrontation resulted into fire exchange between the herdsmen and military personnel.
A resident of the area hinted news men that the herdsmen overpowered the soldiers and whisked away two others.

Naija News recalls that the government last week following, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s visit to the state, made resolve that it will investigate the root cause of the killings.
