Geography and Borders

Kebbi is strategically located in the North-West. It shares international borders with the Republic of Niger to the north and the Benin Republic to the west. Domestically, it is bordered by Sokoto State to the north and east, Zamfara State to the east, and Niger State to the south.

Governance: From 1991 to Date

Created from the old Sokoto State, Kebbi has been led by various military and civilian leaders:
