Akpabio Tenders Resignation As Senate Minority Leader

Senator Godswill Akpabio has resigned his position as minority leader of the Nigerian Senate, Naija News understands.

The resignation letter, dated 4th August 2018 however did not state any reason for the resignation.

There have been rumours that Senator Akpabio is set to dump the Peoples Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress.

Naija News recalls the Akwa Ibom senator has already visited President Muhammadu Buhari in London and also visited National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja.
