Kidnapped Delta Traditional Ruler Regains Freedom
Abductors Release Monarch From Their Captivity
The Obi of Ogodo kingdom in Aniocha North local government area of Delta state, HRM Sunday Olisewokwu, has regained his freedom from kidnappers who abducted him.
The Royal Father was released on Tuesday night around Asaba.
He is however receiving treatment from injuries sustained around his neck region at one of the hospitals in Asaba, the state capital.
As earlier reported by Naija News, the traditional ruler was abducted on Sunday by unidentified gunmen, suspected to be herdsmen on Sunday evening.
His aides who attempted to prevent the kidnap, were also injured in the process.
It however remains unclear if the N15 million demanded by the abductors was paid before his release.
