Presidential Election Results For Chibok In Borno
Chibok Girls abducted by Boko Haram in 2014

Despite the unrest and a series of attacks by Boko Haram terrorists in the region, citizens still exercised their civic responsibility by voting for their preferred candidate in the 2023 presidential election held last Saturday in the Chibok Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State.

Naija News recalls that on the night of 14–15 April 2014, no fewer than 276 teenage children, mostly Christian female students, were kidnapped by the dreaded terrorist group from the Government Girls Secondary School in the town of Chibok.

The sad event would remain one of the unforgettable terrorist attacks in Nigerian history. However, despite the continued unrest in the state caused by insurgents, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was still able to conduct elections in some parts of Borno.

See below the 2023 presidential election results from Chibok LGA as confirmed by the collation officer in the area, Prof Abdulrazak Raju.
