Don’t Trust Looters With Political Power Again – Governor Abubakar

The governor of Jigawa State, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has warned Nigerians against electing looters into power in the coming elections in the country.

The statement was made by the governor on Monday in his speech while commissioning the New World Micro Finance Bank at Birnin Kudu town, Birninkudu local government of the state.

Governor ‎Abubakar called on Nigerians to keep following the list of looters recently released by the federal government and stand against them having political power again.

He said, “Please follow the list of looters the federal government released recently and make sure you don’t give them any chance to lead you. Don’t entrust them, they will never change“.

In his statement the governor described the past administration of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at all levels as looters and said they came to power with empty pocket but within sixteen years of their leadership ended up making themselves and their families rich.

He said members of the opposition, who paralyzed Nigeria and its future were now busy ‎criticizing the present administration’s effort of rebuilding a better Nigeria that everyone will be proud of in the future.

PDP and its leaders particularly from Jigawa State are shameless. These people, who were elected to lead various political offices with nothing ended up making themselves and their families billionaires. Nigerians will never allow you to lead them again,” he said.
