Edo Guber: It Is Insensitive To Fix N30m As Nomination Form Fee - Kenneth Okonkwo Slams Labour Party

Veteran Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has faulted the All Progressives Congress, (APC) for consistently making a mockery of the growing internet sensation of Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi.

This is coming a few days after the actor dumped APC over the decision to have a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2023 presidential election.

In an interview with Arise TV on Thursday, Okonkwo said he’s not contemplating joining any political party at the moment, and commended Obi’s supporters for doing a great job of marketing their candidate.

When asked about the speculations that LP is just a social media buzz, Kenneth said APC were the originator of internet sensation before they took over power in 2015.

The actor further questioned why APC is crying if Obi’s internet buzz is not making any impact adding that they are rattled by the ‘Obidients Movement’.

He said: “I’m yet to join another political party, but I’m Obicentric. The power of marketing starts with gaining attention and Peter Obi’s team is doing that perfectly.

“APC were the originators of internet sensation so why are they crying if it’s not making any impact.

“Marketing is by getting attention and Obidients are doing it well, that’s why APC and PDP are rattled.”
