Fani-Kayode Reacts As Terrorists Torture Abuja-Kaduna Train Victims

Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has kicked against giving quit notice to Fulani occupying any part of the country.

In a post on his Twitter handle, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain claimed that herdsmen killing people in the south are the same killers tagged ‘bandits’ in the north.

According to the former minister, all law-abiding Fulani must be allowed to reside in any part of the country as they choose.

Fani-Kayode wrote: “The herdsmen that are ravaging the SW, SS, SE & MB are the same ones that are butchering people in the NW& NE.

“In the south& MB we call them herdsmen & in the north, they call them bandits. They do NOT represent the Fulani: they represent only themselves & those who sent them.

“I subscribe to the view that killer herdsmen should be given quit notices & apprehended but I don’t subscribe to the view that ALL Fulanis should be given a quit notice anywhere in the country.

“We are ALL Nigerians & I will defend the right of a law-abiding Fulani to reside. In any part of the country as much as I would defend the right of an Igbo, Yoruba, Ijaw or any other tribe to do same.

“We must learn to separate the wheat from the chaff & to be our brother’s keeper. We must not allow the actions of a few to make us hate an entire tribe.”
