Transfer: Lille Speaks On Nicolas Pepe Joining Manchester United

With the summer transfer window getting clumsy, Lille has revealed that it will not allow Nicolas Pepe to leave the club for Manchester United.

According to Yahoo Sport France, the French Ligue 1 side have rejected an offer from the Red Devils to sign the £70million winger.

The newspaper, however, did not reveal how much the Premier League giants offered to Lille Ivory Coast international to Old Trafford this summer.

A further report also revealed that Pepe has also drawn interest from Liverpool, Arsenal and Everton.

Manchester United head coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is working on strengthen his attacking squad ahead of next season.

Pepe scored 23 goals in 45 appearances for Lille last season.

The 24-year-old also helped his side to secure UEFA Champions League qualification ahead of Marseille and Lyon.
