Oxlade Chamberlain completes Liverpool switch

Liverpool have completed the £35 million transfer of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal on a five-year deal,making the England international the fifth major summer signing for the reds.

Having agreed a fee with the Gunners on Wednesday for The England international, Chamberlain completed his switch to Anfield after first appearing to be heading for London rivals, Chelsea.

Chamberlain leaves Arsenal after six seasons with the gunners, having joined the London outfit from Southhampton as a teenager.

Liverpool however, appear to still have unfinished business in the current transfer window as they seek to wrap up deals for Monaco’s Thomas Lemar as well as Southhampton’s Virgil van Dijk before the transfer window slams shut today.
