Man United Send André Onana Back To Trabzonspor, Fenerbahçe Sign Nathan Aké

Manchester United have confirmed that goalkeeper André Onana has rejoined Trabzonspor on a season-long loan for the 2026/27 campaign.

André Onana’s move to Trabzonspor remains subject to international transfer clearance and registration.

In a statement, the Premier League club said: “Manchester United goalkeeper André Onana has joined Trabzonspor on loan for the 2026/27 season, with the completion of international transfer clearance and registration still pending.”

The Cameroon international returns to Papara Park after spending last season with the Turkish side, where he made 40 appearances. His performances helped Trabzonspor finish third in the Süper Lig and lift the Turkish Cup.

Onana arrived at Old Trafford in the summer of 2023 and has gone on to make 102 appearances for United.

Manchester United added: “Everyone at Manchester United wishes André Onana all the best for the new season.”

Previous reports suggested the loan agreement could earn United up to £1.3 million. The deal does not include an option to buy.

Meanwhile, Turkish giants Fenerbahçe have announced the signing of Manchester City defender Nathan Aké.
