Gov. Kefas Appoints Deputy Director Generals, Other Officials For 2027 Campaigns

The Governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas, has approved the appointment of deputy director-generals to his campaign council for the three senatorial zones ahead of the 2027 elections.

Also appointed are the campaign council’s spokesperson and secretary.

The developments were confirmed by the Director-General of the Agbu Kefas Moving Forward Agenda 2027, Danladi Baido.

Naija News understands that the appointments, which take immediate effect, are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the campaign structure and ensure effective coordination of political activities across the State ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election.

The appointees are as follows:
• Dr Bulus Maiyaki (Makaman Donga), Deputy Director-General, Taraba South Senatorial Zone
• Rt. Hon. Kabiru Jalo, Deputy Director-General, Taraba Central Senatorial Zone
• Rt. Hon. (Prof.) Albasu Kunini, Deputy Director-General, Taraba North Senatorial Zone
• Hon. Emmanuel Bello, Spokesperson, Dr Agbu Kefas Re-Election Campaign Council 2027
• Rt Hon. Josiah Sabo Kente (PhD), Secretary, Dr Agbu Kefas Re-Election Campaign Council 2027

Baido said the appointments reflect the Campaign Council’s commitment to assembling a team of competent, experienced and dedicated leaders with proven records of service, political mobilisation and unwavering commitment to the vision of the Moving Forward Agenda.

The Director General congratulated the newly appointed officials and urged them to discharge their responsibilities with diligence, commitment, discipline, and a strong sense of teamwork.

They are expected to work in close collaboration with party leaders, stakeholders, support groups and volunteers to consolidate the widespread support enjoyed by Governor Dr Agbu Kefas across the state.
