Premier League Clubs Reach Finals Of All Three UEFA Competitions [Dates, Venues]

Three clubs from the English Premier League have reached the finals of all three major UEFA competitions in the same season for the first time in history.

Naija News reports that Arsenal confirmed their place in the UEFA Champions League final after a 2-1 aggregate win over Atletico Madrid. The London side will face Paris Saint-Germain in the final in Budapest, Hungary, on 30 May.

On Thursday, May 7, Aston Villa secured a place in the UEFA Europa League final after overturning a first-leg deficit to beat fellow English Premier League side, Nottingham Forest 4-1 on aggregate. Aston Villa will meet SC Freiburg in Istanbul, Turkey on 20 May.

Crystal Palace also progressed to the UEFA Europa Conference League final after defeating Ukrainian side, Shakhtar Donetsk 5-2 on aggregate. The Premier League club will face Rayo Vallecano in Leipzig, Germany, on 27 May.

The achievement marks the first time English Premier League clubs have reached the finals of the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League in the same season. The Conference League was introduced in 2021, creating a three-tier European club competition structure.

Last season, Chelsea won the Europa Conference League and Tottenham Hotspur lifted the Europa League, but Arsenal were eliminated in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
