Jose Mourinho has shared his expectations for his next managerial post as he awaits potential offers.

Following his dismissal from Roma in January, the 61-year-old has remained unemployed and has been associated with clubs in the Saudi Pro League; however, he is targeting a transition to a European club.

Mourinho outlined his requirements for his next job, emphasizing the importance of fair objectives established by all parties involved.

He expressed a desire for realistic goals and highlighted the need for fair treatment regardless of his reputation.

The former Roma Boss cited his experience at the club, achieving unexpected success, and stressed the importance of realistic, achievable targets.

Mourinho has told The Telegraph his demands from his next job: “The only thing I want is that the targets and the objectives have to be established by everyone in a fair way. I cannot go to a club where, because of my history, the objective is to win the title. No. The only thing I want is that it has to be fair.

“Do you think if I was at a big Premier League club and we were sixth, seventh, or eighth, in the table, I still have a job? What I am saying is that people [should] look at me the way they look at others.

“What is important for me is if the club has objectives and for me to be able to say I am ready to fight for these. I don’t want to say realistic, but [at least] semi-realistic.

“Because when I went to Roma, nobody was dreaming about European Cup finals and we did it. It’s not possible I go to a club that is almost relegated and the objective is to win the Champions League. It’s good but it is not fair.”
