Alia Speaks On Kidnap Of Benue Commissioner, Former LG Chairman

The Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has vowed to restore the state to its former glory after years of alleged mismanagement by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He has assured the people that he will create a favourable environment for the delivery of democratic dividends.

Naija News reports that Alia stated these during the weekend at a meeting with stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

The Governor expressed his gratitude to the people of Benue for electing him and his Deputy, Sam Ode, to lead the affairs of the state. He promised that his administration would recover everything that the state had lost in the past eight years.

Ali informed the stakeholders that despite the challenges, his administration had already begun renovating the dilapidated House of Assembly complex, which is now nearing completion.

Furthermore, Governor Alia urged the people of Benue to actively participate in ensuring security by being vigilant and reporting any suspicious activities or individuals to the appropriate authorities. He emphasized the importance of maintaining peace in the state.

Overall, Governor Alia’s commitment to restoring the state’s lost glory and his efforts to improve infrastructure and security demonstrates his dedication to the welfare of the people of Benue.

Alia informed the stakeholders that his administration, in collaboration with the citizens, plans to appoint trustworthy individuals, including young people and women, to form caretaker committees at the local government level.

He guaranteed that zoning regulations would be strictly followed.
