The 2023-2024 Premier League Matchday 12 results which took place this afternoon, November 11, produced a couple of unexpected results.

The biggest stunner happened at the Molineux Stadium where Wolves came from a goal down to beat depleted Tottenham Hotspur 2-1.

Tottenham Hotspur who suffered their first defeat in the 2023-2024 Premier League campaign on Monday against Chelsea, fell to Wolves after Pablo Sarabia and Mario Lemina scored in injury time to cancel out Brennan Johnson’s 3rd-minute goal.

The defeat has dropped Tottenham Hotspur to the third spot with 26 points in 12 games, while the win has pushed Wolves to the 11th spot with 15 points in 12 games.

At the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal successfully moved to the second spot in the Premier League table after beating Vincent Kompany’s Burnley 3-1 courtesy of goals from Leandro Trossard, William Saliba, and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

At Old Trafford, Manchester United returned to winning ways after a disastrous Champions League outing. Coach Erik Ten Hag and his boys beat Luton Town 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Victor Lindelöf to remain in the 6th spot with 21 points in 12 games, while Luton Town dropped to the 17th spot with 6 points in 12 games.

At Selhurst Park Stadium, the game between Crystal Palace and Everton ended in a five-goal thriller. The visitors scored the match opener through the boots of Vitaliy Mykolenko. Eberechi Eze who just extended his contract with Crystal Palace equalized in the 5th minute from the penalty spot.

The game was settled in the second half as Abdoulaye Doucouré restored Everton’s lead in the 49th minute. In the 73rd minute, Odsonne Édouard equalized for the hosts but Idrissa Gueye settled the back-and-forth in the 86th minute.

Everton’s 3-2 win has taken them to the 14th spot with 14 points in 12 games while Crystal Palace are occupying the 12th spot with 15 points in 12 games.
