Arsenal’s talisman, Gabriel Jesus has reportedly returned to the treatment room after he was forced out of the UEFA Champions League group stage game against Sevilla.

In the last ten minutes of the Champions League game, Gabriel Jesus was substituted due to fitness issues after contributing bountifully to Arsenal’s big 2-1 win over the most successful Europa League team of all time, Sevilla.

Before he left the game in the 81st minute, the 26-year-old Brazilian center-forward scored a goal and provided a goal for Arsenal’s first away win in the Champions League campaign.

After the game, coach Mikel Arteta hailed the positive contribution of the Brazilian to his team, saying: “He came here for a reason and he changed our world.”

So far this season, Gabriel Jesus who joined Arsenal from Manchester City on July 4, 2022, for a transfer fee worth €52.20 million has scored four goals and provided one assist in 11 games in all competitions for the Gunners.

Jesus has been so good at the Emirates Stadium that Arsenal’s former striker Kevin Campbell described the Brazilian as “irreplaceable” as the Brazilian is suspected to be out with a hamstring injury.

“100%. If it is a tweak of the hamstring then you don’t take risks with it that’s for sure”, Campbell told BBC.

“Arsenal do have the players who can fill in, but Jesus really is irreplaceable because he makes everybody else better.”

If Gabriel Jesus’ current injury scare is anything to go by, he could miss the Premier League game between Arsenal and Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 28.
