Bayern Munich have continued to prove that they are unstoppable in the 2023-2024 UEFA Champions League campaign as they silenced their matchday three hosts, Galatasaray.

Before the Champions League game between Bayern Munich and Galatasaray, at RAMS Park in Istanbul, Turkey, there was fans’ trouble but that didn’t stop the German Bundesliga champions from doing the needful.

During the game, Kingsley Coman gave Bayern Munich the lead as early as the 8th minute. But Galatasaray fought back and got an equalizer in the 30th minute via a penalty converted by the usual suspect, Mauro Icardi.

Interestingly, the first half ended with a 1-1 draw leaving the fans of the Turkish side with a lot of hope that they could beat Bayern Munich like they beat Manchester United on matchday two.

However, Harry Kane stepped up to halt their hope as he restored Bayern’s lead in the 73rd minute. Five minutes later, Jamal Musiala doubled Bayern’s lead as coach Thomas Tuchel and his boys left Istanbul with a 3-1 victory.

The win means that Bayern Munich are currently topping Group A with the maximum 9 points in three games, followed by Galatasaray with four points in three games.

Interestingly, Manchester United who are currently playing F.C. Copenhagen, are currently sitting bottom of the group with no win.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan defeated RB Salzburg at the San Siro this evening in the Champions League Group D clash.

Bayern Munich have continued to prove that they are unstoppable in the 2023-2024 UEFA Champions League campaign as they silent their matchday three hosts, Galatasaray.

A goal from Alexis Sánchez opened the scoring for Inter in the 19th minute. In the 57th minute, Oscar Gloukh equalized for Salzburg. Unfortunately, the joy of leaving San Siro with at least a point was cut short in the 64th minute when Hakan Çalhanoğlu restored Milan’s lead via a spot-kick.

The 2-1 win leaves Inter Milan at the top of Group D with 7 points in three games, pending the outcome of the game between second-placed Real Sociedad and bottom-placed Benfica.
