Mohbad: ‘May Nigeria Not Happen To You’ – Ruth Kadiri Faults Reno Omokri’s Interview With Naira Marley

Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri has criticised the tell-all interview of former presidential media aide, Reno Omokri with controversial Nigerian singer, Naira Marley, on circumstances surrounding the death of his late former signee, Mohbad.

Naija News reports that Naira Marley, during the interview, shared a video of his last conversation with Mohbad, stating the deceased was struggling with suicidal thoughts.

The singer reiterated he had no hand directly or indirectly in Mohbad’s death, noting he was out of the country when the tragic incident occurred, and they were still on good terms before the incident.

Naira added he was ready to make himself available for investigation if the Police would guarantee his safety.

Reacting to this, Ruth Kadiri, in a post via her Instagram page, averred that if Nigeria had a law, the issue and circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death would not be discussed on social media.

She hoped that adverse circumstances in Nigeria will not happen to anyone.

She wrote, “By their fruits, you shall know them!

“If Nigeria had laws would we even be on social media discussing who is right and who is wrong?

“Trying to get justice from the core of our existence???

“Like I always say! May Nigeria not happen to you!. Rest well Mohbad.”
