Transfer Deadline: Tuchel Confirms Ryan Gravenberch Is Joining Liverpool

Liverpool has reportedly agreed to terms with Bayern Munich for the signing of Dutch professional footballer, Ryan Gravenberch.

Bayern Munich manager, Thomas Tuchel, confirmed this on Friday morning, Naija News reports.

According to him, the 21-year-old midfielder ‘wasn’t happy with his situation at the Bundesliga club.’

There have been a series of speculation that the Dutch midfielder would leave the Bundesliga champions just one year after joining from Ajax.

This news platform understands that the player, during his maiden season at Bayern, struggled to cement his place in the club’s starting XI and made just three league starts.

Liverpool, however, has now reportedly agreed a fee in the region of €40m (£34.2m) to sign Bayern Munich midfielder.

Gravenberch is said to have agreed on a five-year deal with Jurgen Klopp’s side and is said to have arrived in Liverpool on Thursday evening to complete the transfer, with a medical pencilled in for Friday (today).
