Nottingham Forest, Bayern Munich Interested In Wilfred Ndidi

Premier League side, Nottingham Forest are said to be working studiously to complete the signing of Nigeria international, Wilfred Ndidi before the end of the 2023 summer transfer window.

According to Romano Fabrizio, Nottingham Forest are set to bid for the 26-year-old Nigerian defensive midfielder and the official proposal is expected to be submitted soon.

The transfer expert claimed that Wilfred Ndidi who is currently playing for Championship side, Leicester City is the top defensive midfielder target for the Premier League side this summer.

“Understand personal terms have been agreed and negotiations will now start between clubs. Forest will push to make it happen”, Fabrizio tweeted.

Meanwhile, German Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich are said to be considering a move for Wilfred Ndidi on loan from Leicester City before the end of this summer transfer window.

The coach of the German Bundesliga side, Thomas Tuchel is said to be particularly interested in the Nigerian defensive midfielder and Bayern might make an official contact anytime soon.

German newspaper, Kicker claimed that Bayern are planning to keep the Nigeria international at the club for the rest of the 2023-2024 season if the potential move is successful.

Wilfred Ndidi joined Leicester City from Belgian club KRC Genk on January 3, 2017. Since then, he has played 325 times in which he scored 19 goals and provided 15 assists in all competitions.
