Davido Mourns Wizkid’s Mother At Afronation Concert (Video)

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has offered condolences to his fellow artist, Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, over the death of his mother.

During his performance at the Afronation Fest in Detroit, United States, over the weekend, Davido also remembered his mother’s death many years ago.

He said, “I wanna say big condolences to my brother Ayo Balogun, Wizkid, to his mother. May her soul rest in peace.”

Naija News recalls that Wizkid’s mum, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, died last week Friday after a brief illness.

Mrs Balogun, who was a pillar of support for her son’s flourishing career, and often seen showing her support for him from the sidelines at concerts, died in the wee hours of today, Friday, August 18, 2023.
