Former Super Eagles player and assistant coach, Daniel Amokachi now has his twin son, Nazim, playing professional football in the Zambia Premier League.

It was confirmed this weekend that Nazim Amokachi had left Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, Lobi Stars, for NAPSA Stars in Zambia.

Naija News gathered that the 27-year-old right-winger signed a two-year deal with the Zambian team which means that he is expected to remain in the Southern African country until 2025.

After sealing the deal, Nazim Amokachi told the club’s official website that he hoped to help NAPSA Stars who finished 7th last season to finish in a better position this season.

“I am very honoured to be part of this beautiful football club,” said Nazim.

“The people have been friendly, helpful, and tried to ease me into life and Zambia is a very beautiful country.

“I hope to improve every day and help NAPSA Stars get to the best possible position.”

Nazim Amokachi has played for Besiktas Under-21 in Turkey from December 14, 2016, to 2017. He was without a club from July 2017 until April 10, 2018, when he joined Israeli club JS Hercules.

Nazim was also without a club in January 2020 and things remained that way until Lobi Stars signed him in March 2022 for an undisclosed transfer fee.
