Harry Kane To Bayern Munich: Deal Completed Between All Parties

Within 24 hours after Tottenham Hotspur accepted Bayern Munich’s €100 million fixed payment and €20 million in add-ons payment to secure the services of their striker Harry Kane, the Englishman has given his green light to the deal.

Tottenham Hotspur have also given him the go-ahead to travel to Germany for his medical examination and he is expected to be in Germany today, August 11, for it.

The latest updates according to several transfer reports, confirmed that Harry Kane has given his green light to the deal. After Spurs accepted Bayern’s offer on Thursday, August 9, the German Bundesliga champions and the England international were involved in intense negotiations overnight and reached personal terms in hours.

Recall that before things looked this good, Spurs had rejected three bids from the German Bundesliga giants because it didn’t reach their valuation of the player whose contract will expire next summer.

However, after Bayern had said their third bid was their last and Spurs took days before they rejected it, the German side had to make another offer which has now been sealed.

Harry Kane has already agreed to a 4-year deal which means that he would stay at the club until June 30, 2027. At that point, he would have turned 35 years old.

Also, Naija News gathered that Harry Kane accepted a whopping £21.6 million per season salary offer which means that he will be earning a whopping £415,000 a week at Bayern Munich.

This is a massive rise from the £200,000 per week he earns at Tottenham Hotspur based on the contract renewal he signed with the club in 2018.

His proposed new salary at Bayern is said to be the same salary Sadio Mane was being paid at Bayern when he joined the club from Liverpool last summer. The Senegalese winger has however moved to the Saudi Pro League club, Al Nassr, this summer.

All things being equal, Harry Kane should be announced as Bayern Munich’s new signing before the end of Saturday, August 12, which means that he would be unable to participate in the DFL Super Cup final again RB Leipzig at 19:45 on the said date.
